Sandstone canyon walls glow red as the sun dips below the far horizon at the Green River Overlook in Canyonlands National Park.
The panorama above is a composite of five images spanning approximately 110 degrees looking south across Soda Springs Basin. It had been a typically windy day in Canyonlands with hazy overcast for most of the day. Luckily the clouds cleared just before the sun hit the horizon to cast this dramatic light onto the cliff face across the valley.
