Located just south of Bozeman, Montana, the Hyalite Creek trail is a great place for a scenic hike. If you love waterfalls, (and who doesn’t?) then this is the place for you! They are scattered all along the length of this 10-mile out-and-back trail, each one making a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the tranquility of the forest. Pictured here, Arch Falls is one of my favorites, where the creek has cut a large hole through the canyon rock, its mist irrigating the lush green moss clinging to its walls.
Later this week: More waterfalls from Hyalite Canyon!
