This gallery is a selection I assembled from an austere day trip hiking around the Weatherman Draw area this past weekend. Foggy, blank skies and irregular sandstone features lent themselves to some interesting black and white landscapes. The diffuse light was also perfect for capturing many of the freshly blooming prairie wildflowers that are beginning to pop up everywhere this time of year.
